Columbus Jewish Day School believes that our unique, integrated Jewish and general education should be available to all families. Our tuition assistance program reflects this commitment to the Jewish community. Our goal is to welcome and support a diverse group of qualified students, including those who would not otherwise be able to attend CJDS.
Families apply for financial aid through the NAIS School and Student Services (SSS), a confidential and unbiased third party. Applications, including tax documentation, are submitted online, directly to SSS. Families are required to reapply for financial assistance each year and awards are based on a reevaluation of the family’s financial situation and demonstrated continued need. Instructions to apply online can be found HERE . The CJDS school code is 1445.
COVID-19 Tuition Assistance Relief Fund
Each CJDS student and family is an irreplaceable part of our community. We encourage all families who have been deeply impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic to complete the private application below for temporary tuition support for the 2020-21 school year. Qualification will be awarded based on demonstrated significant need and impact. To be included in the first round of requests for temporary tuition assistance, please complete this form on or before Tuesday, July 14, 2020.
CJDS also accepts EdChoice scholarships. The Ohio EdChoice program provides scholarships to eligible students to attend participating private schools, based on either where they live or their family income (the 2019-2020 academic year scholarship was $4,650 per student).
