Welcome to the Columbus Jewish Day School Virtual Admissions Office!

Thank you for your interest in Columbus Jewish Day School. We look forward to helping you as you seek the school that's the best fit for your child. Please feel free to send us a note here , or reach out directly to our Director of Institutional Advancement, Jenny Glick to chat about how your family might feel at home in CJDS’ learning community.

The very best way to experience our school is by visiting the campus, stepping into our classrooms, and seeing first-hand the warm, rigorous, combined Jewish and secular education that we offer. For now, we warmly invite you to join us for a private tour, or for an upcoming virtual admission information session. Please contact our Director of Institutional Advancement, Jenny Glick , to schedule a personal conversation about our program. We look forward to meeting you!

We are now accepting applications for students in grades K-5 for the 2022-23 school year.

Here are the steps to our admission process:

1. Submit an application by February 11, 2022. Applications for admission to CJDS are available here , and are being accepted now for the fall of 2022. Students applying for kindergarten must be five years of age by September 1. Applications completed by February 11, 2022 are eligible for first-round decisions - which are announced on March 1, 2022. For students applying after February 11, 2022, CJDS follows a rolling admissions process with visits and screenings arranged individually.

2. Schedule a conversation with our Director of Institutional Advancement, Jenny Glick. Once your application is submitted, Jenny will contact you to set up a time.

Schedule a CJDS visit . Proof of vaccine and face coverings are required for all campus visits. During this in person visit, you will have the opportunity to safely see our CJDS campus, have time to meet with our faculty, and also have the chance to share some time with our Head of School.
