Memorialize a Loved One
Friday, May 24 at 1:30 p.m.
We remember loved ones through the acts of loving-kindness we perform in this world. In keeping with CJDS' tradition, we invite you to attend our Annual Butterfly Release on Friday, May 24 from 1:30-2:20 p.m. During the event, name(s) of people you wish to have memorialized are read aloud as each butterfly is released.
We encourage you to attend this event to personally memorialize your loved ones. Special thanks to InsectLore a proud sponsor of the 2019 CJDS Butterfly Release and our 2019 Butterfly Extravaganza and Concert.

At Columbus Jewish Day School, we exist to strengthen the Jewish community and the world by helping to develop thinking, feeling, centered, whole people. We do it by providing a rigorous academic experience. We do it by helping children discover their authentic selves and their value in the world. We do it by combining intellectual, spiritual, and emotional understanding with social responsibility – and making our history relevant to our present and our future. Ours is a world of joy, creativity, critical thinking, and self-discovery. An environment where every child, every question, and every opinion has value, and each is treated with dignity and respect. We’d love to participate in the story of your child’s creation. We promise to give your child the foundation that he or she needs to add real value to relationships, life, and the world.
